Smell This: Tuca Tuca from Lush

Every gal knows, her scent is as important as her hair and makeup. Perfume is like an accessory that lingers throughout the whole day. Some women use it, some women don't. Some women need a spritz, some a gallon. Me, I'm a spritzer - which means, I spritz once or twice, walk through and I'm a happy camper. I'm a firm believer in the natural scent of a woman and that it should never be completely covered.

Image courtesy of LushUsa.comWhen it comes to scents, I've never been tied to just one. While I'm usually drawn to stronger, earthier scents; I am partial to florals, like Marc Jacobs Daisy Garland Edition. Like a woman's style, the scent she chooses says a lot about her. If I was picking a fragrance for myself, I'd pick one that was strong yet subtle with a slight floral touch. I'm a big fan of sandalwood and patchouli mixed with notes of vanilla and hibiscus. Oddly enough, it reminds me of my food tastes - sweet and salty, though I'm sure sweet and savory is better.

Lush's latest offering comes in the form of a fragrance, Tuca Tuca. Meaning "touch, touch" in Italian, the scent is playfulness in a bottle. From first spritz, I was whisked away by the bite of sandalwood and smoky vetivert. After I was left with nudges of violet and vanilla lingering throughout the rest of the day. Fair warning, Tuca Tuca is not for the faint of heart. It's for the woman who knows what she wants and has fun getting it.

Buy Tuca Tuca here - available in 3 sizes. Plus, Tuca Tuca available in a handy massage bar that's 100% vegan like the fragrance. (Buy it here and "tuca, tuca" your special someone!)

Candid Tip: one spritz of Tuca Tuca made my apartment smell awesome! Multi-tasking at it's best!

Smell This (Again): Marc Jacobs Daisy Garland Edition

I'm a big fan of Marc Jacob's fragrances! There's something that's very 'me' about them. You know, funn and flirty with a sweet undertone. This Spring, Marc Jacobs brings back his loved Daisy with a little twist! The scent starts fruity with hints of wild strawberry and grapefruit, playing wonderfully against it's touch of violet. Daisy's heart is filled with violet and jasmine kissed with gardenia. The suprise is in the base where the usual musk and vanilla dance with white wood!

I love how the petals are blue now!

The scent is whimsical and sultry with the sophistication that Marc is known for! Try it & fall in love with Daisy all over again!
