Going to the hair salon is a treat in itself don't you think? It's one of the indulgences we get to have after a long week or maybe just because (there's nothing wrong with that!). After leaving a hair appointment, what woman doesn't feel instantly gorgeous and glamorous?
Gorgeous? I think so, ha!
After leaving Davide Torchio's chic salon, I not only felt beautiful - I barely wanted to leave! Torchio's chic Lexington salon isn't only easy on the eyes but the epitome of comfort. I've seen many salons that are built more for the aethestics but this one was a winner for both! Of course, I think my favorite part of the salon were Davide's two fur-babies who have complete run of the land. They tossled and played on the salon floor as I watched in delight - I'm such a dog person and they won my heart! The presence of the dogs brought a real sense of coziness that lets each client feel at home while they're styled.
Upon meeting Davide, I have to admit he was the exact opposite of what I had expected. I was thinking he'd be the primadonna hair genius who would mutter a few words then chop away. Davide was warm, funny, and so welcoming! We chatted about organic dog food as he got to know my hair better and I was smitten! He wanted exactly what I wanted - to cut and pop some color into my tresses without going overboard! As I was shampooed and cut, it was such a pleasure to chat with Davide and the other members of his staff. It was like sitting with a group of friends and catching up - all the while getting beautified. A few inches later and with the addition of some gorgeous copper highlights (thank you Tina - she's an amazing colorist), I walked out of Davide's salon with an extra pep in my step.
