Artsy shapes on and Fall hues were in full swing at DKNY! The warm shades of Fall were apparent in each piece; as was the mixing of vibes. Chunky boyfriend blazers topped whimsical short skirts and sequin sweaters while mini sheaths were adorned with ribbon ties! This collection is confident, structured, and feminine - the epitome of New York woman!

Candid Here & There : Robert Verdi's New York Fashion Week Retreat

Hearing it's Fashion Week is like a giant bell that rings across the world, calling fashionistas home to one place: New York's Bryant Park. Fashionistas, editors, and writers/bloggers come together to celebrate the latest collections from the likes of Naeem Khan, Brian Reyes, DKNY - just to name a few! During Fashion Week, it's hard for most media people to find a place to chill out, grab a bite to eat, and recharge before the next show. Thankfully, Robert Verdi opened up his swanky Luxe Lab and invited us in to catch a breath! 

Complete with a delicious menu, bags of Popcorn Indiana, and Absolut cocktails - Verdi's oasis was exactly that! His lounge was super chic and even comfier - which was perfect for us bloggers to settle in and well, blog! Oh and as if Robert & his team weren't enough, Phyto Haircare was on location giving complimentary blow outs and touch-ups throughout the day. They gave me gorgeous straightened locks to show off & I loved it!

What I really loved was that Robert was hanging out meeting, greeting, and chit-chatting with everyone there. I'd never met him until yesterday and I have to admit, he's pretty fabulous! Of course, you might know that already if you've seen his reality TV show - The Robert Verdi Show Starring Robert Verdi. Tune in Wednesdays at 10PM on LogoTV to catch it! I promise, it's a laugh and a half! Plus, you'll die over his accessories!

When I was younger, I wanted to be a princess, ride a pony, and one day get whisked away by a knight in shining armor.  I'm a lot older now and while I'd still love pony - I'd rather cover New York Fashion Week for G-Star Raw!
