Candid Here & There: Summer Social 2010

When the weather gets hot, so do the social lives of New Yorkers everywhere! Last week, Natasha Huang (@nhmediaprgirl) of NHMediaSpot, Jon Valdez (@jonvaldez) of Orange Juice and Biscuits, and You Are on the List (@youareonthelist) co-hosted the first annual Summer Social.

A mix of marketing professionals, designers, PR powerhouses, bloggers and more mingled over Oro Tequila and O.N.E Coconut Water. Not to mention, the OTHER watering hole - which consisted of a chocolate fondue fountain with 15 toppings! (Yes, I said 15!) That plus all other edible 'swag' was offered by Q Events - that fig & cheese concoction was... you know, there are no words. (Seriously.)

(@notmarkz) of TheFinderz.comI'm pleased to say that Summer Social raised over $800 - to be donated to The Blind Project, a wonderful initiative that helps to rescue and rehabilitate women who have suffered through trafficking in South East Asia. I love when the getting together of amazing people and ideas results in #SOCIALGOOD!
