Red, White, & Blue in the Face: Independence Day Beauty Picks

As everyone gets ready for this weekend's festivities, I'm sad to say I haven't even found something I want to wear. I'm thinking a fun dress and wedges duo but haven't gotten the time to look! C'est la vie! Whenever I don't have the time to snag something new and fun to wear, I always rely on makeup to play my look up a bit!

The Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer

This all purpose powder comes in pearlescent ivory shade and can be considered quite the triple threat. Use it as an eyeshadow, a highlighter, or even just to add a little shimmer to your look. Plus it's smooth powder formula allows for easy application - especially for those on-the-go touch ups.

I wondered where I'd be able to fit blue into my look and when I stumbled upon this polish, all questions were answered! Fresh, bright, and oh so patriotic!

Dior's Serum De Rouge Luminous Color Lip Treatment

Image Courtesy of Sephora.comI'm torn. I love lipstick but NEED the moisturizing powers of lip balm! Fortunately, Dior has answered my wishes with this bad boy. Equal parts lip-saver and punch of color, my shade of choice is their new Red Serum #850. Did I mention it's packed with mango butter and is also SPF 20?

What are your favorite holiday-hued beauty picks? Please share! I love an excuse to try something new!

Have a wonderful July 4th!
